Welcome to the Binfield Parish Neighbourhood Plan pages.
The Binfield Neighbourhood Plan has been through all its planning stages and the Referendum will be held on March 3 2016.
You are encouraged to vote - a simple majority of those voting will "Make" the plan which will then become part of local planning policy.
Although the parish council cannot tell you which way to vote, it can direct you to the documents, encourage you to read them and then ask you to make your decision and vote. The parish council, but mostly the Neighbourhood Plan steering group, has spent a lot of time with consultations and revisions to make a plan that we believe will benefit Binfield with its new policies. Please take your time to take a look...
Please look at the documents - there are the main documents and an information sheet to help you make your decision. These can be found in the document archive.

What is the Neighbourhood Plan
Binfield Parish Council has decided that Binfield will produce a Neighbourhood Plan. Bracknell Forest Council's Site Allocations Local Plan is now in place, and this provides residents and anyone interested in the parish an opportunity to get together and disucss how some aspects of our enviornment should be developed.
Within certain parameters, residents can affect some aspects of development into the future. It will be a costly process, needing wide communication (taking many forms) with all groups involving consultation and feedback, which will be funded through various sources.
If you are interested in shaping development in the parish, please do come to one of our meetings. Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at the Parish Council office at 8.00pm.
