title="Binfield Parish Council in Berkshire">

Allotments are seeing an upturn in popularity with more people wanting to grow and eat their own produce. Binfield is pleased to have an allotment site situated in Red Rose, off York Road, Binfield.

The area is divided into 51 plots of different sizes, some having been split into two, three or four to cater for people with less time to tackle the larger plot size and to give an opportunity to more residents to have a plot. Allotment holders can grow fruit and vegetables and even flowers on their plot - all the Council asks is that the plot is fully cultivated to a reasonable standard and that no nuisance is caused to other plot holders and local residents.

Unfortunately there is a long waiting list at the moment, so don’t delay if you would like to apply for a plot. You have to be a resident of Binfield parish to join and it may take a number of years to get to the top of the list. So call and speak to Janet (who usually works Monday and Friday morning) to discuss the latest position.
