Arts Week

October half term 2015 saw the 11th Artsweek - and it was a great success.  New activities and some old favourites for children, interesting talks and music events.  As we go through the year we will be starting to think about 2016 - if you want to be involved (as an artist, helper, speaker or as a member of your particular group) get in contact with one of the parish offices.

A week-long FREE arts festival for all the family with craft workshops, live music from Eton College students and the Glee Club UK, original art and crafts, mural painting, local authors, explorer's talks, opera, sequence dancing, poetry, children’s shows & children's workshops.

More events than ever....
There were over 50 events in last year's Arts Week programme in eight venues spread across the Parishes of Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield in East Berkshire (between Windsor and Bracknell).
All events can be enjoyed totally FREE of charge, and booking places secures you a guaranteed seat/place. Bookings are online ticketing via the website www.arts-week.org.uk.  Events for children are always oversubscribed so locals in Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield will be given priority. The evening events have much more seating so are open to all comers.
This year’s Arts Week has its own website with full details of every event, background stories, photographs, maps and booking arrangements. The website is updated daily and you can see which events still have spaces available; and if you want, you can book tickets via the website

Arts Week is by local people and for local people
The Arts Week showcases some of the very best local arts and crafts from this area. We hope the events will stimulate interest and encourage people to take up new hobbies, pastimes or challenges with one or more of the local organisations, clubs and groups involved.
