Volunteer litter pick Saturday 12 May - Binfield Environment Group    30 November, -0001

The Binfield Environment Group are arranging a volunteer litter pick for Saturday 12th May. This clean-up will focus primarily on the route of the Binfield 10K which you can view here:

Binfield 10K Route

As the route uses public roads they do not plan to lead a large group. Instead they plan to tackle various parts of the route in small groups. They invite volunteers to do the same.

They advise to please think road safe. Wear sensible clothes, High-Vis, footwear and gloves, and please be aware that footpaths are lacking in some parts of the route. Those may not be suitable for children.  Beware of uneven ground. Do not pick up anything you cannot easily and safely lift and carry.

Litter pickers and bag hoops are available at the Binfield Parish Council temporary office at Lexham House, Forest Road. Please contact us to learn more about where rubbish bag drops can be made along the route.

To contact the Binfield Environment Group about this, or other volunteering activities, then please email binfieldeg@gmail.com.

Any help and time you can provide would be much appreciated!
