|Defibrillator now in place at Binfield library. 11 February, 2016|
There is now a new addition to the range of services offered by Binfield Library! A potentially life saving defibrillator has been installed on the outside of the building so that it will be accessible to the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should it be needed.
Bracknell Forest Council gave their permission to site this equipment in this prime, central location. With access on foot or by car, near to venues populated heavily throughout the day and evening, the library is a very central and well used location.
The defibrillator is also registered with the South Central Ambulance Service and callers to the 999 service in the vicinity will be directed to it in an emergency cardiac arrest situation.
We hope it's never needed, but there if it is[+ go back...]
